Position: Direct Hire Warehouse Distribution Clerk/Delivery Driver
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $16-18/hr DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM to 5PM
Responsibilities:
· Position requires cross training between warehouse and delivery driving duties
· Reading packing slips and packing orders
· Receiving stock and nonstock items
· Must physically load and unload trucks for deliveries and inventory
· Loading trucks and ensuring proper inventory for customer order
· Providing customer service to customers during deliveries
· Deliveries to clients and customer’s businesses
· Cleaning the warehouse
· Handling inventories for verifying stock and identifying losses
· Operating forklift and pallet jack
Experience and Skills Required:
· 3+ years experience working as a Distribution Clerk
· 3+ years experience reading order slips, material handling, and loading/unloading inventory
· 1+ years experience driving deliveries to clients
– CDL license not required
· Must have outstanding customer service skills
· Must have good eye for detail and ability to learn quickly.
