Position: Direct Hire Mortgage Loan Processor
Compensation: $20-$21/hr DOE + benefits!
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Lancaster, NY
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Monitor and maintain an application pipeline
- Provide exceptional customer service by directly communicating with Mortgage Consultants, clients, service providers and referring partner
- Gather correct underwriting conditions in order to obtain loan conditions met in less than 30 days
- Image/index, review and submit completed files via the loan origination system to the underwriting department for approval
- Serve as the initial welcome contact for customers
Education and Skills Required:
- B.S. in Business preferred
- At least 5 years of purchase mortgage processing or related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written verbal communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to work within strict deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
