Position: Temp-Hire Production Team Leader
Location: Cheektowaga, NY
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $15 – 20/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
- Seeking candidate to operator equipment while overseeing production personnel to achieve optimum efficiency
- Communicate job expectations, along with monitoring, coaching, initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures
- Train all new personnel on operational processes and quality standards
- Facilitate the process driven manufacturing culture utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, QR/QA, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist and support quality to meet all TS-16949 requirements.
Education/Experience/Skills Required
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of experience in the contract manufacturing industry
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail orientated with the ability to track multiple teams and tasks simultaneously
- Previous forklift experience required
