Position: Temp-Hire Blender/Mixing Operator
Location: Buffalo, NY
Hours: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
(Mandated to work 2nd shift, M-F 3:30pm-11:30pm September & October)
Compensation: $12/hour
($13-14/hour DOE after 90 days)
Responsibilities:
- Blend/mix and weigh product
- Inspect boxes for damages
- Ensure product and box match up (same product/code)
- Check product packaging for defects & proper labeling
- Load pallet according to instructions
- Pack product into required boxes
- Remove defective products and/or materials
- Repack product as needed
- Tape & label each box according to job sheet
- Verify pallet count in accurate prior to shipping
- Accurately complete required paperwork and production logs
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Special projects or duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills Required
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- Previous food manufacturing experience required
- Previous experience working as a blender or mixing operator preferred
- Tow Motor Certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, have problem-solving skills and have organizational aptitude
