Position: Temp-to-Hire Large Part Assembler
Location: North Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $13-14/hour on 1st shift DOE
Hours: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of hydraulic components in a machine shop environment
- Following diagrams, schematics and drawing to correctly assemble the products
- Moving parts
- Packing and wrapping parts
- Operating hand, power and production tools
- Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Candidate must have 1+ years’ experience assembling components within a manufacturing environment
- Must have ability to follow schematics and diagrams
- Candidate must have experience using hand and power tools
- Mechanical ability is a must
- Ability to operate computers and perform data entry
- UPS experience is a plus!!
- Safety glasses and safety shoes required (safety shoes are defined as any shoe or boot certified for impact or compression)
- High School Degree/GED
