Position: Direct Hire Mortgage Processor
Location: Lancaster, NY
Compensation: DOE – Annual Salary, Incentives & a Sign-on Bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a completed borrower file to our underwriting team for mortgage approval
- Review loan applications for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Image/index, review and submit completed files via the loan origination system to the underwriting dept.
- Provide exceptional customer service by directly communication with consultants, clients and service providers
- Gather correct underwriting conditions in order to obtain loan clear to close in less than 30 days
- Order third party documentation
- Handle an average pipeline of 35 active files
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- B.S in Business strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience with mortgage processing, or related experience
- Must be proficient with MS Office programs
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to work under tight deadlines
