Position: Temp-Hire Buyer (Electronic Components)
Location: Lancaster, NY
Compensation: $15-16/hour DOE
(medical benefits provided upon perm hire)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Process requisitions, get approvals and place purchase orders via approved vendors
- Perform necessary due diligence in the sourcing and supplier selection
- Maintain transactions and supplier data
- Manage database for all products, update as needed
- Other tasks may be assignment by management
Experience and Skills Required:
- Must have experience buying components such as Integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, sensors, transducers, etc.
- Must be professional candidate, with great communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
- Should be a self-starter and be able to work independently
