Job of the Day! Office Manager/ Assistant Controller

Position: Direct Hire Office Manager/ Assistant Controller

Location: Lancaster, NY

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Compensation: $50k-$55k DOE + benefits!!

Responsibilities:

  • Process paperwork for all personnel
  • Manage Company Fringe Benefit Plans
  • Responsible for yearly and job specific OSHA reports
  • Review weekly time sheets and payroll edits
  • Workers’ Comp audits
  • Compliance with terms of labor agreements
  • Prepare and process monthly union reports, balancing out union G/L account
  • Assumes duties and responsibilities of Controller in his absence
  • Accounts Receivable management, customer contact for payment and review with Senior management at bi-weekly meetings
  • Completion of year-end 1099’s

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Experience with working in a commercial construction setting required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Public Notary Certificate strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
