Position: Temp-Perm Administrative Assistant
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $15+/hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Receive visitors and operate a multi-line phone system
- Maintain paper and electronic files
- Receive and enter bills
- Prepare payments
- File paid invoices
- Communicate with vendors concerning billing discrepancies
- Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Receive and review employee hours
- Track daily attendance and time-off requests
- Prepare and submit job openings
- Schedule employee annual training’s
- Assist employees with benefit and other HR items
- Prepare daily production reports for management
- Make travel arrangements
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned by Manager
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
- Must have previous clerical/administrative experience
- Detail orientated, multi-tasking abilities and strong organizational skills
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment
