Position: Direct Hire Pharmacy Technician Manager
Location: Williamsville, NY
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with some evenings (until 11pm) and some weekends
Pay: $45K-$54K Annually DOE
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-day operations and 40-50 pharmacy technicians
- Hiring, training and scheduling of employees
- Supervise dispensing of medications, injections, sterile intravenous products and controlled substances
- Manage the automated dispensing machine and non-sterile compounding
- Oversee repacking, emergency kits and stock activities
- Manage the interface with Pharmacists and Technician staff
- Manage the interface between delivery of medications, billing medications, stock medications and ordering medications
- Participate in QA activities to improve accuracy and efficiency
Skills & Experience Required:
- HSD/GED required; college degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years’ pharmacy management experience (preferably long-term care pharmacy)
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills
