Position: Direct Hire Registered Nurse
Location: Buffalo, NY
Hours: Flexibility to Monday – Friday, 8am – 7pm & Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm
Compensation: DOE
Responsibilities:
- Carry out provider orders accurately, directly, and indirectly
- Treatment administration, patient testing, patient advice, as well as standing orders
- Instruct patients and families regarding illnesses, treatments, and medications
- Route triages to the appropriate provider
- Chart preparation
- Investigate and follow through on any unusual orders or requests for service by patient or parent
- Assist LPN with office duties as needed
- Train and orient new nurses to the office
- Perform other related duties as needed
Education/ Experience / Skills Required:
- Must have current NYS license & registration
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- 1 year of experience in Pediatrics is strongly preferred
- Must be a team leader and possess strong communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications and medical equipment and instrument
