Position: Temp-Hire CNC Machinist Assistant
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $16-17/hour DOE
Hours: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
– Perform full setups and operation for CNC Mill Machines
– Working with larger parts (15-60” in diameter)
– Reading blueprints with experience of using micrometers and calipers.
– Responsible for running various machines at one time
– Other duties: tool changes, offsets and machine setups
– Working with very tight tolerances
– Deburring and cleaning parts
– Use of overhead cranes
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
– Seeking candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and has a strong desire to become a CNC Machinist
– Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
– High School Degree/GED
