Position: Direct Hire Director of Social work Services
Location: Buffalo, NY
Shift: Full-Time, Days
Pay: $89K-91K Annually DOE
Essential Functions:
- Develop, manage, coordinate and administer the social work programs, functions and services
- Ensure compliance with the TJC, HCFA, NYSDOH, CMS & other regulatory agencies
Experience and Skills Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Valid license & current registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NYS
- 7+ years of experience in clinical medical social work
- 5+ years of experience in social work administration and department management
- Must have previous experience with direct supervision of staff and program development
- Experience in a hospital-based setting, crisis management, ethics intervention and clinical supervision
- Knowledge of case management and individual counseling
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong network of contacts, regulatory guidelines awareness and data management experience
- Strong communication skills, experience with conflict resolution and good presentation skills
