Position: Temp-Hire Slitter Operator
Location: Buffalo, NY
Compensation: $13-13.50/hour DOE
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
• Operate large slitter machine to cut belts to size
• Measure material
• Assist in other areas as needed
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
• Prior manufacturing work experience required
• Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and drawings
• Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales)
• Ability to complete basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metric system
• High School Diploma/GED
