Position: Temporary Graphic Designer
Length of Assignment: 6 months
(potential to be extended to a year long contract)
Location: East Aurora, NY
Compensation: $20-27/hour DOE
Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a new branding look across multiple categories and packaging structures
• Follow style guide specs and working with existing assets, and making adjustments where necessary
• Assist with photo shoots
• Some e-commerce design requires
• Work closely with multiple departments for approvals and present concepts/design strategies
• Keep management updated on changes in package design/development
• Prepare 3D package samples
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
• BFA Degree in Graphics, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related degree program
• 2-5 years of graphic design experience & 2+ years of packaging layout/design experience
• Computer proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop CS5 as MS Office
• Must have strong aesthetic skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills
