Position: Direct Hire Production Supervisor
Location: Buffalo, NY
Compensation: $50-70k DOE
Shift: 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:00pm
Responsibilities:
• Supervises and coordinates activities of assembly, machine shop, and welding workers
• Applies in-depth knowledge of processes involved and production methods utilized to produce quality compliant end products
• Communicates job expectations to staff
• Planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions
• Initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
• HDS or GED
• 5+ years of experience in a production supervisory role
• Must come from a contract manufacturing environment
• Willing to work on the production floor alongside staff to accomplish production goals
• Past experience in logistics/shipping would be a plus
