Busy medical office in Cheektowaga, NY is looking to fill a Direct Hire RN position. Qualified applicants must have a current NYS license & registration
Hours: Monday – Friday (4) 10 hour days
Compensation: $25-28/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
• Carry out provider orders accurately, directly, and indirectly
• Treatment administration, patient testing, patient advice, as well as standing orders
• Instruct patients and families regarding illnesses, treatments, and medications
• Route triages to the appropriate provider
• Chart preparation
• Investigate and follow through on any unusual orders or requests for service by patient or parent
• Assist LPN with office duties as needed
• Train and orient new nurses to the office
• Perform other related duties as needed
Education/ Experience / Skills Required:
• Must have current NYS license & registration
• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• Must be a team leader and possess strong communication skills
• Knowledge of computer applications and medical equipment and instruments
