Position: Temp-Hire Quality Control Technician
Length of Assignment: 4 months
Location: Grand Island, NY
Compensation: $14.50/hour
Hours: M-F, 8AM – 5:30PM
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the timely and accurate support of the stability program including initiation, sample pulls, sample shipment, inventory tracking, chart monitoring, paperwork preparation, SOP updates and data entry
• Collects and tests samples
• Performs routine pH analysis
• Performs visual inspection and volumes for Finished Product
• Performs sampling and physical release of all Raw Materials and Finished Products
• Operate forklifts, power walkers, pallet jacks etc. and maintains equipment
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
• BS Degree in Chemistry or related field OR Associates Degree with 1-2 years related experience
• Basic Wet Chemistry Lab Skills required
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Working knowledge of cGMPs
