Position: Temp-Hire Inside Sales Representative
Location: Williamsville, NY
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm
Compensation: $15-17/hr. DOE
Job Duties:
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to prospective customers (100/day)
- Identify decision makers within an organization to generate interest
- Direct qualified opportunities to closing sales representatives via scheduled conference calls/meetings
- Maintain database of prospective customer information
- Research potential leads and contacts through a variety of avenues including but not limited to; business directories, web searches and LinkedIn profiles
- Meet and/or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales quotas
Skills and Education Requirements:
- Associate degree in a related field of study or 3 years relevant experience
- Previous call center experience highly preferred
- Previous experience in the energy industry a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build a customer base
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
- Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Self-motivated, high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Maintains a positive “can do” attitude
